Crozer-Keystone Employee Engagement Survey

Sent on behalf of Human Resources

Crozer-Keystone remains committed to achieving high levels of success in all aspects of our performance. We are dedicated to providing an environment for excellence where our patients are cared for with compassion, physicians choose to practice, and employees are valued.

We all have insights and ideas about how to continuously improve our level of productivity and deliver the highest quality of care. To gather such information objectively, we are asking all employees to complete a web-based employee engagement survey.

The survey was launched on Monday, January 13, and information will be gathered for three weeks.

To begin the survey:

  • Visit hsdmetrics.com
  • At the login screen, you will be asked to enter your healthcare system’s code, followed by your employee ID # for security purposes.
    • The healthcare system codes will be displayed on the login page.
    • Please enter your Crozer-Keystone employee number, not your new Oracle “person number” that begins with “3” or any leading zeros.

The survey is anonymous. No one will see your answers, and your name will not be revealed in any of the data collected. Once the findings have been compiled and reviewed, you will receive feedback on the overall results and key themes.

If you have questions about the survey or you don’t know your employee ID #, please contact Carmine Fieo in Human Resources at 610-447-6325 or Carmine.Fieo@crozer.org. You may also contact HSD Metrics at 1-877-439-9315 or survey@hsdmetrics.com.

This is a unique opportunity for all of us to influence and improve our work environment for achieving exceptional healthcare. Thank you in advance for your participation.

Scheduled Crane Lift at CCMC – Saturday, January 18

Sent on behalf of Facilities

On Saturday, January 18, 2020, beginning at 6 a.m., East Drive will be closed to all traffic. There will be a crane lift of new equipment set-up outside Crozer-Chester Medical Center as part of construction for the new boiler/chiller project. East Drive will be closed for approximately 12 hours. Click here for a map.

Access to and from the physician parking lot, dietary loading dock, Crisis Center, East Drive Hospital entrance, East Drive loading dock, Facilities department, and Quality and EVS offices can still be via Medical Center Blvd. by way of the upper I95 parking lot and back.

Detour signs and a flagman will be posted to help drivers navigate this traffic change. Absolutely no public foot traffic will be allowed through the closed portion of East Drive. Unfortunately, hospital staff ignored this message on previous occasions, creating a safety hazard to themselves and the construction project. Moving forward, the individuals will be reported to Security and Human Resources for disciplinary action.

Please share this important message with employees who do not have computer access, as well as any patients or vendors that may have a Saturday appointment scheduled.

If you need further information, please contact Bob Kilroy in the Facilities Department at 610-447-2452 or robert.kilroy@crozer.org. Thank you for your cooperation.

Delaware County Online Survey on Public Health

Sent on behalf of Marketing and Corporate Communications

Delaware County is seeking input from the public, health care professionals, and municipal leaders on the public health needs of residents throughout the county. In June, Delaware County Council unanimously voted to hire Johns Hopkins University's Bloomberg School of Public Health to evaluate the delivery of health and public health services in Delaware County and provide the County with recommendations on how to enhance and strengthen these services. The study is being done to gain a better understanding of the public health needs of residents and identify any gaps in the delivery of services. As part of the study, residents are invited to complete an online survey on how the County is addressing residents’ public health needs. All survey responses will be anonymous. The survey is open to all Delaware County residents over 18 years of age, now through January 31, 2020, and can be accessed at https://tinyurl.com/DelCoSurvey. Click here to learn more.

Crozer Pediatrics Open, Accepting New Patients

Sent on behalf of Pediatrics

You may have heard that Pediatric Associates PA has closed its office on the Crozer-Chester Medical Center campus (suite 103 of POB 1). Please understand that Pediatric Associates PA is a private practice, and is not affiliated with Crozer-Keystone Pediatrics. Parents and physician offices are expressing confusion over this, and we need your help in providing accurate information.

  • If they are Crozer-Keystone Pediatrics patients, please reassure them that our network practice has not left the campus, and the office at Suite 205, POB 1, at 1 Medical Center Blvd., is open. The phone number to make an appointment is still 610-619-7410.
  • If they are former patients of Dr. Ronald Goldberg or another member of the Pediatrics Associates practice and need to find a new provider, please inform them that Crozer-Keystone is accepting new pediatric patients, so they would be able to continue care on our Upland campus. They can call 610-619-7410 for an appointment with Crozer-Keystone Pediatrics.

Ultimately, we want all of our callers to get helpful and accurate information, and we are eager to accept new patients if they would like to remain with a practice on Crozer-Keystone’s Upland campus. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
